Also, what @vlbastos said is true, The app uses about 10% of your GPU when running. And so the best use for me was to Lower settings/resolution to get to about 65-70 FPS, than locking it to 60 FPS (using RiveaTurner or Nvidea control panel) , ginving headroom for me to activate the lossless scaling to get better visual (upscaler) and 120 FPS (Frame Gen).
With frame generation alone, I've seen the program in a 60 capped 2D game that barely uses resources, to go and eat 70% gpu. The higher your resolution, the higher the hit.
Also make sure to try performance mode.
