Did you press "ALT + CTRL + S " while in game to enable LL?

Sometimes when you activate it and your game is at full screen AND at native resolution, it simply doesn't work sometimes. Try setting and easier hotkey and keep spamming it until you see a yellow border around the screen, and of course you are gonna notice the sharpening (upscaling tbh) pass even though you set sharpening to 0. Another thing you are gonna notice is the framerate loss...

I would recommend creating a custom resolution close to native. I use 1152p, 1224p and 1296p on my 1440p monitor. You could try an even closer to native resolution than that if that's what you want, it will surely work better than trying to upscale a game at full screen using the same resolution as your monitor's.

Hi itsLee333, thanks for your help , I have set a different hotkey as you suggested. when in game for sharpening do you have to use the hotkey for the sharpening to work ? As I don't want to upscale.
On using the hotkey I now get a yellow border which you mentioned what does this mean ?

Will update once I get a bit further

Don't use this app for exclusive fullscreen games, as it won't work properly.
If you want to use sharpening only, put the game into windowed mode and set the desired resolution, then in LS select a custom scale factor 1.0 and apply 'scaling' to a game. You will see the game not in a window, but in full screen mode.

(ノ°□°)ノ, Thank you sir ! seems to be working now in windowed mode as you suggested , some good results , and some not as good as the Nvidia sharpening , hopefully with updates you can get it better than Nvidia's , good work

Wont the upscaling algorithm still be applied even if its at native resolution and you use a 1.0 upscale? Eating additional performance and input delay vs just using the RCAS pass of FSR alone?

you can use nvidia sharpening together with LS, through control panel or geforce experience or even reshade. I honestly think it's too much as NIS already oversharpen even at 1 sharpness.
