I am also and your guide is fabulous. Thank you and it works like a charm.]
4k gaming on a Nvidia Geforce 1070Ti FTW
Ok so quick update, i checked your suggestions on your Guide and, believe it or not, apparently disabling The Steam Overlay got rid of the problem.
While im still a bit confused about how some stuffs work and, if my eyes weren't playing a placebo effect on me, i could see a BIG improvement in FPS across all games i played with mostly minimal visual issues (as in, i couldn't really notice i was playing on a lower resolution)
Still a bit bummed out i can't use the overlay if i want to play at higher framerates, i usually use the overlay for chats and to play podcasts on the background, really helpful.
Thank you for the guide and for the help, i was about to add ya to ask you some more questions, but i wouldn't really like to be too bothersome, only thing i would like to request is for you to add the optional "turn off the steam overlay" section on your guide, i might've missed that on the official instructions but im not 100% sure.
😭🥲...Now don't get Ya'll emotional on me.
M really Glad it worked.!
@SpaceCoastToast.. Thanks for ur Fabulous Comment. ALSO : For Unreal Engine Games..do not use FSR.... Unreal Engine has inbuilt Upscaling method...Looks much Better than FSR.. It is TAAU.. U can google it...How to use TAAU in Unreal Games.
@Golden_Armor... Really Thanks for Reminding me about Overlays..I was going to add it in the guide but it just slipped my mind. Will do now. AlSO.. U can ask anything..it's what STEAM Community is about.. will be happy to help.
Tested all settings, but scaled mode is worst than the windowed. This is exactly the opposite of wat I've wanted with this program.
