Does it screw up windows after you exit a game (change resolution) or all the time when you unscale?
I cannot click the unscale button, because it makes the screen change resolution to something really magnified and low res.
I think the program might work if I manually disable scaling before exiting the game, but I'd probably need to reboot windows to see if that fixes whatever it screwed up. I don't understand why it breaks the OS after I exit the program. I don't know if task switching works either, so it seems to be required to manually toggle off before doing anything.
AMD driver 21.5.2 on laptop APU.
edit: Seems like steam was the main program screwed after exiting. I restarted steam and changed the DPI scaling behavior to application, which should keep it from being overridden.
Other than that I can't reproduce your issues. If you change resolution while the game is scaled and something goes wrong you can always use the scale hotkey to stop the scaling.
