1080p on ultrawide monitor (2560x1080)
Is it possible to use this with ultrawide monitor for full hd 1080p gaming?

Depends on what games do you want to play?

AAA titles like Asssassins Creed. I would like to play at 1080p without the annoying blur.

Why can't you just set the game resolution to 2560x1080 if your graphics card can handle it?

The problem with this would be stretching the image across the wide monitor.

Either that, or it wont stretch and part of the monitor is black.

I can understand why you would want to run it at 1080p though.
Graphics cards can support high resolution monitors, but games are a lot more harder to work with at such resolutions.

What resolution do you play then when you see blur?

I was just putting my 2 cents into the subject of stretching non wide resolutions to wide. I feel like it would just cause issues or not provide any benfits.

If your game at 1920x1080 is stretching you can just use 1x scale so it do black bars from left and right but you can also use graphics driver options (no scale) for this.
If you don't like black bars you can set some wide lower resolution to a game like 1280x540 and try to use 2x scale but the image can look pixelated.
