Thank you, I started tinkering with the Deck yesterday.
I set Xbox Xcloud until I get a microsd for Windows.
Today I tried ProtonGE but I achieved nothing.
Thank you for sharing, I will try your steps next time. (I am going to bed now)
Thank you I followed your steps and works fine. I sent you a friend invitation, accept it if you want.
A word of warning though: at some point in the last three months this game stopped working altogether, and later on started working again. The Steam Deck is still being updated very often and stuff might break again with no warning.
Thank you for the warning.
I could give you an unused steamkey of an indie game if you want (but I don't know if I have any spare game you may be interested in). {As a "Thank You"}.
Another question, I've got another game: Styx Shards of Darkness, the game is not supported on Steam Deck (Styx 1 is Steam Verified, Styx 2 is not).
But it runs correctly if I go to desktop mode and run Steam there.
I can play it with no issues, but if I wanted to run it with the Steam Deck native launcher, where would you start from?
I think the game already has a Platinum score in ProtonDB.
EDIT: Sorry for the off-topic.
A game being flagged as "unsupported" (as renegade ops is) does not prevent you from trying to launch it from gaming mode. Just change the filter (press X) when looking at the installed tab of your library to make sure all games are displayed.
Yes, I know.
When I execute Styx 2 on Steam Deck's native launcher, the screen gets black or doesn't start at all.
Anyway, I don't want to make you lose any more time, as I can go to desktop mode, launch Steam and play using the paddles perfectly by configuring them via Big Picture.
Thank you for your time.
Thanks for this. I played through the entire Inferno campaign in split-screen co-op from the Deck (docked to a TV). And I've started the Coldstrike campaign. It has worked flawlessly on the Deck with the information you provided.
