As for fun, aside from the very bad physics modeling, I agree with the group here that it is a bit enjoyable with social aspects.
go for a racing sim thats already out there (LfS ftw :))
I didn't read the Ads (no Offense here D.A.) I have had the opportunity to test the game out. Physics are quite nice thus I will wait patiently for the game to launch.
You're wrong op, who's to say what's good driving anyway? It's a game - any drivings cool don't care bout supposed realism and all this rubbish as long as it's steerable. seems fun to me with keyboard, not too difficult or arcadey. can use different inputs too, keyboard is naturally gonna change ♥♥♥♥ up with its binary input. It's amazing - the interior views, open world (and especially off-road open world), amount of cars, looking around your car interior and opening windows, decent radios, getting out of the car sometimes, etc... Basically got no clue what you haters on about. it's sick as ♥♥♥♥. better than burnout paradise/NFS HP imo, I mean it would win just for the radio...
How cool is exploring off-road and how big the map is? wasn't expecting that at all. haven't you guys tried to explore it? good for chilling with

About title this thread "TDU2 The Worse Car Simulator Game I Have Encountered" we can say "TDU2 isn't worse 'driving game'".
You REALLY need a controller or better a steering wheel to play this game. I wish the game would recognize my steering wheel. EVERY OTHER GAME recognized the wheel but TDU2 won't.
So I really regret buying this game. NEVER had so much problems with a new game. Not even GTA IV!
I'm really disapointed.
lol i got that game for free with PSN and i still find it garbage. TDU2 isn't a great game but it's better than sonic lol
But the single most amazing thing that struck me about this game? They removed TrackIR support! How could they possibly do that? (Yeah there is a mod to fix TrackIR somewhat, but I found it a bit cumbersome, but it did work. Rest of the game didn't really justify fiddling more with it though).
I enjoy TDU from 2006 much more. That one HAVE TrackIR support, go figure! Oh, and snappy menues! Click-click-click- GO!
(I don't remember how the GUI menues and such is in TDU2, but some games just are a real bore to wait for unskippable blah blah intros and such for a scatterbrain that soon decides to do something else instead).
Race07 and all of the dlcs
GTR 1/2
GT legends
Dirt 2/3 (dirt 2 yanked off of steam)
Nfs shift 1/2
Asseto Corsa
Race Room Experience (free to play)
There are other games liks
iracing
rfactor
lfs
When some one says racing sim TDU does not come to mind.... I think of the arcadey games like Grid and the NFS games minus shift.....
But man the game is 5 bucks right now..... you still can't lose. Steam is pratically giving games away.
