Reinstalled, not helped.
How to fix?
PS: also why game want to revoke my registration? Is this some kind of robbery?

At new install, game will ask for your 'unlock request code', you get that by doing the revoke, at that popup you copy or write with pen and paper the unlock request code, if you missed it you can get that popup again by Windows, Run, testdrive2.exe/revoke.
Then, if error #5...
read carefully all words;

1. Go to the game directory.

2. Delete the file name "UpLauncher.localdb" (not the same as "UpLauncher.exe")

3. Run TestDrive2.exe [not uplauncher.exe] and click "OK" when the error comes up.

4. Now run UpLauncher.exe....

For Steam Users:

5. You may get the Error 5 again; "close the steam and then right click on steam and work administrator". Run the game through Steam again, and it should work."

If fail, go Programs-Features [Windows7] and uninstall tdu2 there. Restart pc, install tdu2, goto top of this post and do these helps again.

6. Post results.

Great, thanks, everything working now. Except i don't remember my tdu2 account and site refuses to send me password reset email. Just like "la-la-la contact site admin".

Use windows IE to go login, it's also ok with Firefox but not chrome, anyway u must, when u go there, set allow all scripts and allow all cookies and if u run NoScipt in FFox, temp disable it. O.K. First, Get a pen and paper and write your account name next, create a password and carefully write that to your paper too. Next, type in web site input box, your account name exactly as it is on your paper, then click Reset password and type the password you just created and wrote on paper, get it correct, exact like if u used any capitals, or numbers.That's all u need to do there and no more, except keep your paper in a safe place, you will need that when you start your Tdu2 Uplauncher. Failing all that,,, create new account i guess.. Good luck. Post results please.

I am using FF, scripts allowed, adblock disabled. Unable to login. Unable to create account - site error, even in IE.

ignore errors, make up a new password, write it down, click reset password, type it, exit website, start game use new password,... no, i already said all this, u better create new account new email... etc did u revoke b4 uninstall?

Well, tech support changed my password manually. Everything is working now. And thank you, no further assistance required.
