authentication online??

Hello, I need some urgent help.
So I've been playing this game before without any problems. But as I updated to Windows 10, it started to show me this message:
"This software must be authenticated online prior to use. For activation a valid serial number and an active Internet connection is required."
Anyway, it asks me for some kind of serial key, whitch I don't got, cause as I said I played this game with no problems on Windows 7.
So can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks a lot!

Do you have a legit version of this game?
If yes, is it retail or steam?

you mean u dont know where to find cd key on steam? try righclick game icon in steam library then properties.

@wellen1981 Yes I do have legit version, bought it off steam and got almost 30 hours in it no with no problems, but after updating to windows 10 if started to show me that message.

maybe u need the Securom Service running, i do on 7.

Well, how do I do that, and it's kinda strange that everything was alright before I updated to newer windows, didn't need any securom services, nothing.

well 10 is poo 7 is cool. also u need directx-9c for tdu2, Win10 dont have that.

Welp, I can't... It writes that it's only available on windows 98, 2000, Xp and 2003 family edition.

i guess there must be a workaround but i dunno, i'm on 7, 7 ok with tdu2.

tried 'play in win 7 compatibility mode'?

I'm not that much of a professional when it comes to things like that, could you tell me how to do it?

i'm not, but u could try rightclick game icon in game folder, look for compatibility 7 option.
