TDU World Launcher Virus ??

When installing the launcher i get a prompt form Windows defender telling me that a threat was found This one was found once Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.B and multiple times this oneBackdoor:Win32/Bladabindi!ml can anyone give me any insight about what is going on i downloaded the launcher/mod on the tdu world website then it redirected me to turbo duck which i believe is legit i was a bit weary about the situation so i scanned the mod on Virus Total where it sound something i wasent sure if it was the same thing but i kinda went ahead with it anyway after someone telling me he believed it was safe the mod worked fine but after a few days with the mod installed (seems to be only the launcher) i my computer started to behave weird trying to open anything from the task bar wouldn't work and the file Explorer would open randomly does anyone experience similar problems or knows some thing about this i disabled it for now but id love playing tdu world again

I have the same thing, except with "Backdoor:Win32/Bladabindi!ml"
Its now deleted from my PC, and I probably won't install it again.
I've asked the admins what do they have to say about it but they have yet to respond, we will se what happens.

Hi Savageboiii21,

We're aware of this issue, many people have been getting it recently, including myself and other TDU World staff members. This is a false positive. Due to the way the launcher is coded, it opens up the ports to connect to our servers. Windows thinks that is malicious.

We actively monitor all code we use and ensure it only does what it is supposed to do, please be assured we will only ever release legitimate items from TDU World.

Should you have this issue, please add the launcher as an exception to your security. This does not affect all users.

ignore it. if its for Knyazev I use it every time I play, it's excellent.
