Crashing on startup

Everytime I try to start the game it crashes during the first loading screen, I am using the Universal Launcher, I am on Windows 10 and I'm on a notebook that should be powerful enough.
I tried everything I found on the web and I haven't found anything that works. It gives me an error code: 0089DB73

What does it do when you use the proper launcher? (UpLauncher.exe)

for a bunch of time it just gave me an error code, now the launcher starts and says checking game files and does nothing else

win 10 does not have diredtx 9.0c, which is reuired by tdu2. Make sure you have it in the directory.

try install the directx that came in game directory, i dont paste any directx file on my game folder

the only thing that changed is the error code, from 0089DB73 to 00CF61F7

Edit: did you update the game from the normal launcher right? before you start with universal launcher?

thank you for trying, that didn't help either, I'm getting the same error: "Tdu2 dlc2 v034 has stopped working"

Just see my guide, if you have issues with the normal install, just go for the unpacked version.

yes I had updated it, the problems started after the update, the laucher didn't let me start the game so I tried the universal launcher
