Is TDU2 playable with an xbox one controller?

Maybe on your system but I've been using my XOne controller with this game perfectly for years, no 3rd party software, just native support.

i tried it with both, xmapper, and without, EVen with steam controller settings present, forced off, and on xbox mode, , and what not,

xbox 360 buttons detected in-game but its not working.

So please provide more info,.

Strange. I play on Windows 10 with a wireless X1 controller with zero issues, no need for any other software or settings tweaks.

I only have the options of x360 or Keyboard/ and it's plugged in with USB/

interesting, i have a cheaper wired third party one controller and the game tells me it can recognise it but it does not have default controls so you have to set them manually.

I know a Nacon worked, - 3rd party PS4 controller - worked as a xbox controller;
but the official microsoft one can't act as a 360 - on my pc... :/
and steam controller only reigns supreme if I open big picture mode

what OS are you running?

wangblows 10 recognizes the xbone controller with no issues

though it honestly wouldn't surprise me that with that many different controllers and configurations on the one machine that you might have some serious driver incomptabilities

I actually reset steam's controller settings in global - big picture mode , and made sure that all my defaults/background were set to run the xbox 360/ xbox controller, and it worked from there. :) quite a lot of settings to go through to get this right, but Im so glad i did ;)

I've used an Xbox One controller for years. With, TDU2, it had no problems. It'll think that it's a 360 controller, but it still works perfectly fine.

Works fine with Keyboard, Xbox 360/ xbox one / nintendo Switch controller and even with the Logitech G29 (with some extra config)
