Any news on release date? its now been nearly 3 years since this game went on my wishlis. I know we've had covid but surely it must be nearly ready!

I was waiting for this too, but then i decided to clear my wish list from all the rubish that's connected to playway. Or it never releases or it gets abandoned a month after the release.

4 years and counting. At this rate, American Truck Simulator will have all 50 states released before and if this game is released. Seems like it's dead.

Playway is not developer.. They are publisher, google to learn the difference if you dont know.

They can only go by what the people who develope the games tell them...
Constantly see people cry "RELEASE DATE RELEASE DAY WHAAAA DELAYWAAAAYYY"
And then some smuck bend to pressure and give an estimate of what they curtrently hope....

And what do you know, the developer could not manage to be ready for that estimate..
Booom forums again flooded with bs and crying.

Give them time, dont want wait and just shoot random comments, take the game of your wishlist, easy....

However.. I will agree with one thing.... Coming soon = soon
If not to be coming within a year or two, change it to TBA (to be announced)

You're right, and under normal circumstances the publisher can't be blamed for the developer's failure. However, if you look at playway's history, they have a plethora of titles under their name that have been unreleased for years, and will continue to be. There is a pattern here, and it has nothing to do with the developers. playway is falsely advertising and scamming, all the while Steam shrugs their shoulders.

There is proof of developers saying "game is ready, waiting for playway to approve and release" ?

I get how it looks like I am kissing butt here, maybe I am but still.. I have not seen anything point towards playway denie a release

I could say the same otherwise. There is NO PROOF at all, no indication that these games are still in development. Dunno why you're kissing their butt so hard. Again, there are A TON of unreleased games under playway's belt that have been on the market for YEARS. That is a huge red flag.

Not going to keep debating this with you, but if you keep defending them, you're part of the problem.

I was clearing my WL and came across this, had it since 2019, and sad to hear they've canned it as I was looking forward to this, I played a lot of PlayWay games [more recently skipped a few].

Absolutely not saying I don't believe you, but have you got a link to it being cancelled? I just want to confirm before I remove as like I said, I really did want this game [Not sure why, As I can never be bothered to clean my own car haha]
