New game, progress reset?

How can I start a new game, complete reset of progress?

How can I get more heroes?
Heroes are unlocked by gathering Hero shards. They will drop as you play the main campaign, as well as side quests and different mission types.
Once you reach level 16, you will be able to join missions. With each mission completed, you’ll win a key fragment. Once assembled, these keys will let you unlock Assassinations, which are the best place to find a lot of Hero shards.
The first hero you pick cannot be reset, so choose wisely!

I think you should hear what the community means.

For me it would be a good option, because I like to try and if you later achieved a lot, also a restart should be possible.

I just started up yesterday and played for a little bit. I think Anya wasn't what I was expecting and wanted to swap. I know there is the option to swap between chars after collecting shards, but that is a long way off as I'm 1/50.

I'd rather just delete and start over. However, that looks like I'd have to delete my account? I don't really see an option anywhere for this.

This is an old thread but I would also like to chime in. The lack of this option is actually gonna get me to stop playing the game.
The problem is.
I am not enjoying Anya. Not at all what I expected her to be.
To get to play as someone else I first need to spend a lot of time playing as Anya.
Whom I do not like.
So I have to work and suffer to find the fun?
Rather just quit the game then go play something else.

I just went for a refund, because of the same problem. Game is advertised to have 8 playable characters, but you are stuck with one boring character (Anya) until you put 50 hours into the game to get a "chance" to unlock anyone else. Why doesn't the game tell you there is no way of resetting (it says something about founding character but nowhere it states that this is your only choice)? Why does a game force a decision like this in the first minute of playing and without having tried at least one minute of gameplay?

You really do not need to put in anywhere close to 50 hours to unlock additional characters. I had Lukian unlocked after about 5 hours and I was playing very slow and casually (thanks to several glasses of scotch). By the time I hit 50 hours, I had already unlocked one of the legendary skins for Kingewich which cost 150 shards.

After a short while playing your main character, you unlock assassination missions which drop 10-20 hero shards per run. The occasional single shards you get while playing campaign and side missions are just a tiny bonus, while assassination missions are obviously how you are intended to unlock characters and their improved skins.

I stopped playing at 3 hours in and had just unlocked assassination missions so this is about right.
That being said having to play for 5 hours with a character you don't like sucks. It is kind of funny that the kewlest looking of the starting 3 (Anya) is also kind of the worst. I assumed she would be a bruisery mage since the other two are tank and warrior and since it makes sense for the starting characters to be easy to use and have good survivability..... but her whole mechanic sucks.
So now I am stuck playing for another 2 hours with a character that I actively despise.....
For the chance to play with 'maybe' a character that I like.
Or I could just play something else.
That is an easy choice.
How hard is it to allow people to restart the game with a different character. Pretty much every game in history has this feature. Even MMO's and other online games. To the point where it is a standard.
Menu...check. HUD....check. Ability to restart....check.

Personally i REALLY would, also is there a way to restart the campaign? Even if with the same hero?
