Constant game crashes
Unable to play more than one mission. Or even that one. The game constantly crashes out on me. Sound keeps running and screen freezes. Eventually I get sent back to windows and get the "send crash info" message.

These crashes seem completely random. First wave.. last wave.. boss fight.. while running.. Also window mode or full screen doesnt make a difference. Overheating or GPU usage % is also not the root cause. Have been playing with 90% at first but gpu usage got better when turning off post processing. Also didnt stop the crashes. nvidia drivers are up to date. 1080ti. 2560x1440

I'll have to wait on any updates as I'm tired of replaying the same mission over and over just to hope to get through without a crash.

Was able to send the crash report but only after I ended the game through the task manager on the second screen. Was still able to move the mouse on the game screen, sound was still okay, but everything else was frozen. Played in 2560x1440 again today. Crash in the first session.

I'm just mentioning that because I lowered the resultion to 1920x1080 in my last session last week and was able to play 4 battles in a row without any issues @1920x1080.

I have 32GB ram running 2133MHz. No overclocking

The good news OP is that we're receiving your crash reports if you're hitting the "send crash report" button every time, so we should be able to look into it.

I have the same issue. Also running a 1080ti @ 2560x1440. Game randomly freezes. A times I can play for hours other times PC freezes after playing a mission for a few minutes. Have to hard reset each time. Game is unplayable for me.

Same issues here - seems to freeze when a large spawn triggers on the map?

Hey both! When you crash, do you get a screen prompting you to send us a crash report, or not at all?

Not at all - I typically resort to going to Task Manager and forcing the game to stop.

Could you share your specs? I'd especially like to know if you're running your memory at a high frequency.

A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Any news on resolving this issue? I have tried playing 'The Sacrifice' mission about 10 times. Game locks up completely at some point in the mission. I have to hard reset when this happens. Game is unplayable for me.

Does that only happen in that one mission? If so, please try to verify your game files, then if that doesn't help, a full reinstall. Let's figure out if it could be a corrupted file.

Another follow up to my original problem. It wasnt so much a problem of the game but rather my monitor setup and the nvidia graphics drivers.

If you're playing in 1440p (2560x1440) above 60Hz and you are having a second monitor/tv connected with "just" 60Hz then you'll get these crashes. Some games have them more than others. Not naming the games but in at least three of them I had to lock the games at 60Hz to be able to play in 2560x1440

The solution is simply not to play in 1440p OR lock the refresh rate in the game at 60Hz. Sucks though if you bought a 144Hz 1440p monitor. ;)
