Discount before launch
Hi Pagan Devs, just thinking in getting the game in August.

Can I expect any launch discount like many EA are having?

Would it not be better to increase the players?

They already spit in the face of their customers once with an unannounced price drop while in EA. So, anything could happen. In any case, the game is not worth it right now and I don't see anything drastic coming to change that.

This. Content is not worth the money.
Just wait for a month or two after release and it will be Free to Play. It's Wargaming after all.

This is a regional adjustment and was announced on our website[www.pagan-online.com] - as was compensation. If you don't find the email with your compensation, as I've indicated to you already in a different thread prior to this one: please DM me for help! I'm happy to get it to you.

We have been very clear from Day 1 about the fact that we are a Buy to Play game and will stay this way. You can read more about this from our game director, on the first day of Early Access.

Direct quote:

Will the game be free-to-play? (No)

When we started a couple of years ago, we wanted to know everything we could about our potential players. To put it short, our research showed that a good share of our potential players believe that free-to-play games are lacking something they tend to call “soul”. It is a very interesting topic for a separate discussion, and maybe a book, about the difference between believable digital worlds and casual digital entertainment.

Today I just want to say that we always wanted to build a game that people would love, and in this genre it felt like love and free-to-play would not go together well. After reading through comments and reviews where some of you worry that we may turn into free-to-play game, it seems we were right. So I just want to assure you here, that making Pagan Online a full premium experience, also known as “buy-to-play” game, was an informed decision. Things like paywalls or competitive advantage for real cash will never make it to our development roadmap.

Hmm, thanks for all this explanation Mr. Friendly Dev :steamhappy:

I think its pretty fair that they're giving a free copy to those that have bought the game before the regional adjustment.

Like the folks above say @Xtreme|Delta|Twosplits you can DM me or go through support. Either way, we have the list of folks who should get compensation. I recommend checking your spam folder, it's been found there by some ;)

If you found it, it's all that matters! Cheers.
