Psvr as screen on steamdeck
Hi everybody.
I have an old psvr collecting dust. I also have a quest 2.
Is it possible to connect either of those to my steamdeck en play games on a giant screen?
In non vr mode. Just the screen.
Thank you!

Working on a version of the iVRy driver for SteamOS/Linux. When that is available, you'd be able to use either as a VR headset. Until then you could use a PSVR v2 (with volume controls on the headset) in "cinema" mode as a 2D display just by connecting the HDMI to the SD. A PSVR v1 (with volume controls on the cable) needs to be sent a command over USB to put it into "cinema" mode.

Hi there,

I have the Steam Deck LCD and PSVR1 v2. Is the iVRy driver available now for PSVR1 to work on Steam Deck?

Thanks,

Devin

You can use the Windows version if you dual boot the Steam Deck. Although, TBH, there is little value in pursuing using the Steam Deck for VR, as it's way too under-powered for that. If you connect a PSVR1 v2 via HDMI (Linux or Windows), you'll be able to use it in cinema (2D) mode.
