now that you can order an official adapter i wonder how the development for the tracker is going and if the possible release of early december is still possible, can't wait!

Agent jones' link is for Europe, iVRy's is for North America. Just FYI for everybody.

it would be good to use the ps4 camera, I imagine that this would work without calibration, correct? I have here 3 ps3eye, 1 ps4 camera, and 1 kinect xbox one, and I still couldn't get it to work properly, the controllers work but are totally out of the body (far away), and the HMD tracking (blue ping pong ball) works on psmoveservice but when on steamvr nothing happens :(

I'm poking my head in to keep an eye on this as I've ordered one of the adapters from Sony and am looking forward to being able to get camera support eventually.
So I know the PS4 camera can only do like 180 degree tracking. I wonder if that could be extended to 360 degrees by placing a couple ps3 eye cameras behind.

my adapter came right now, now the future will tell if we can use the cam

This looks like good progress.

Of course it would be better to have this integrated into Ivry so as to minimize number off apps/drivers to run.

I'm interested to see the Driver4VR implementation, however the Monado based implementation I'm using for iVRy is going to be much better, as it is written by CV experts and is part of the VR/XR runtime made by many of the original OSVR team.

any guesses if it'll be done before the end of the year @iVRy ?

so excited hahaha

one of the things that prevents me from playing psvr on the pc is the high use of cpu only with the program open, ivry + psmoveservice (3 cameras) or ivry + driver4vr + kinect 2.0 makes the cpu very used (+ 50%), use an i7 6700k + gtx 1080, will using the ps4 camera have a decrease in the use of cpu?

Nice. Any word on the official adapter on PC? Greg mentioned that no one got it working yet.

Don't have one, can't get one. AFAIK, it's a passive adapter with no electronics, so I don't expect it would behave any differently to the eBay adapter I have (which works fine).
