IPD slider doesn´t work
First of all, i want to say that i have asked this question before, but haven´t gotten an answer or solution yet. I´m having an issue with iVRy about the IPD slider in the Headset options. The IPD of Steam VR vs the one on my headset doesn´t seems to be correct, so i try to change it by moving the Steam VR slider, however, it doesn´t seem to change the IPD and it just moves the UI IPD thing in front of it. Before i have been told that the IPD of Steam VR is determined by the slider, but i dont see how can i correct it if the slider won´t adjust the image according to my needs. Im using the Open GL option as it works best for my headset, but i have also tried GoogleVR and the results are exactly the same. Is there any way i can adjust the IPD of the image or am i having an issue?. Im using the Free Android version.

Unless you are using a headset with movable lenses, it doesn't make any sense to continually change the IPD. The IPD slider is to tell SteamVR what distance apart the lenses in your headset are, so that it renders the content correctly. The UI indicator is from SteamVR, and it confirms that it has "got the message". Your expectation that the driver will simulate lens movement with customised distortion algorithms is unfounded, that is not what the setting does, or is intended to do. As far as I'm aware, SteamVR will change the distance between the "virtual cameras" used to render the left and right images, it will not shift the focal point of the "cameras", so the center points of the images are not going to move closer together or further apart, all that is going to change is the stereo separation.

That said, your issue is most likely that you are not using the correct Google Cardboard lens profile (QR code) for your headset, resulting in improper lens distortion in the rendered image. Changing IPD by moving the images (as you appear to expect) is not going to fix that, only changing the lens profile will.
