Ivry newbie
Hi all

I have just installed the vr iVRY to see how MSFS2020 looks in vr. I am using ivry on my Samsung phone. I launch Ivry via google cardboard and once I have the app started I am in the room with the screen in front of me
but how to I go from just having msfs playing on the screen to it actually playing in full vr

In msfs when I enter vr via the cntr / tab keys I get the split screen on my monitor but a different screen on my phone

Cheers

Rhys

Not sure what you're doing wrong, because it works just fine when entering VR mode. Yes you'll get the split screen on your monitor. Perhaps someone could help you if you gave a little more detail, like explaining what "different screen" means.

Hi

Thank you for the reply

When I press ctrl and tap in msfs2020 to launch VR I get the split image on my computer screen and when I move the headset the images track on my monitor ,but on my phone I get a different image. I am standing on a circle with lines radiating out and on one of the lines I see a triangle. I can see a range of hills in the distance and the night sky with stars and when I look up I see a small screen showing the msfs2020 logo and that's all

Cheers

Depends on the phone. A "Samsung phone" may or may not have a compass. If it does, follow the manufacturer instructions for calibrating it.

Thanks

I will calibrate my phone compass
Great app good to see how vr looks
Without the big expense.

Hi. I had a similar problem with recentering on s23 ultra. For some reason google vr tracking in iVRy doesn't use magnetometer at all. So yeah it drifts. You can turn it off in iVRy settings, so it will work with android tracking and magnetometer. No need to recenter manually in game at all. But magnetometer auto recentering could be too fast and clearly visible and distracting in this mode.. So you can also use something like movetrackVR with psmoveserviceex and its vdm app. Its hard to setup, but tracking is fully configurable
