iVRy Driver for SteamVR

PSVR with NOLO CV1. Can you walk me through setup?
I'm having pairing issues with the CV1, when I got into Steam VR Home, the controllers wouldn't stop vibrating. I restarted Steam VR and the vibrating stopped, but only one controller responded (moved pretty smoothly). I tried to un-pair and re-pair and now I'm having issues pairing and getting Steam VR to even see the 6DoF controllers. I read that we don't need to have the NOLO assistant app running at all. Could you provide an in-depth walk-through on setup from to fully functional in Steam VR?

You will need to install NOLO HOME software from Steam, and wait for (a long time for) it to update all of its files.

1) Select PSVR (with PSVR turned off)
2) Close whatever window pops up for testing
3) Click "toolbox" icon at top right of NOLO HOME window
4) Update firmware if necessary
5) Select "Calibrate and pairing" from main window to calibrate NOLO devices and pair them
6) Select "Visualizer" from "toolbox" to test hardware

You will need to start SteamVR from the iVRy "Launch" button once you have installed NOLO HOME, to fix the SteamVR environment, as the NOLO HOME software breaks all external SteamVR drivers once installed.

Only iVRy and NOLO HOME software support NoloVR in SteamVR. AFAIK RiftCat and Trinus dropped support for it a long time ago, because the Nolo company is a nightmare to work with. In any case, no software will work if the NoloVR system is not calibrated and paired correctly, and only NOLO HOME can be used to do that.

If you have issues with any of the NoloVR software or hardware, you will need to contact that company for support. If your NoloVR hardware is working correctly with NOLO HOME, you can uninstall that software if you only intend to use NoloVR with iVRy.

i have not personally done this myself but have you checked this guide? https://nolovr.com/psvr?treeid=tutorial_2_6

Once you've followed the official guide and run the test in Nolo HOME to make sure everything is working, firmware is up to date etc., uninstall Nolo HOME. There are no steps or configurations necessary to make working Nolo hardware work with iVRy. All support for NoloVR is built into the iVRy driver.

You will need to contact NoloVR support if you are not able to get Nolo HOME working.

Thank you for the quick responses! I'll give it another try in 10-12 hours.

Ludde, I'm going to try that version of NOLO HOME this evening. The steam version is older and takes forever to update and patch. After the 2nd time of watching the 455 files update, I don't have the patience for that again. NOLO Assistant picks up my NOLO CV1 fine, but I don't want to have to pay for a Trinus PSVR license if I can avoid it.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
