iVRy Driver for SteamVR

iVRy Driver for SteamVR

I found an easy solution for most of the problems with NOLO VR
After much frustration with using NOLO VR, I've found an easy solution to most of the problems. First make sure that you start Steam VR using iVRy with Support for NOLO home beta driver. (DO NOT USE NOLO HOME OR ASSISTANT AT ALL) Then, while in Steam VR go to the settings inside the Steam VR overlay then, controller bindings for each game that you are going to play using NOLO VR and turn off the Haptic feedback to both Vive controllers by choosing the "Unused" option. Then just save the new configuration as a personal configuration and start your favorite game like normal. That's it!

For me, doing this resolved 99% of my problems specially tracking accuracy, throwing items, and controllers changing orientation at random or going out of sync and more. It even seems to have reduced drifting by a lot. I've been testing this fix for several hours of play and so far so good so I thought I share and see if it helps anyone else. I'm willing to bet that this trick will even fix the issues that I hear about with Beat Saber.

Can anybody try this fix and confirm whether it helps resolve problems and or improves performance with Beat Saber or any other games for that matter or not? Please leave a comment either way.

Thanks

I tried your you suggestion and it worked for me on Bullets and More VR. I can throw the grenades with precision. The controllers seem to also be more smooth and stable

Great to hear! Thanks for trying it! I've been testing this for 2 days now and it has made a world of difference in all of my games so far. I kick ass on Gorn now, before I tried the fix, weapons would drop out of my grip at random and throwing knives would cause them to land on my feet. I almost gave up on PC VR because of the frustration, now I'm having a blast! I do miss the vibration in some games though. But is way worth the small sacrifice IMHO.

What made you try the Haptic Feedback settings? I wonder if it is just the fact we saved the personal settings for each game?

I was just experimenting with everything I could think of and the haptic feedback was all I had left to try.

Does this method work while using revive for oculus games as when I go into controller bindings there's no haptic option.
