iVRy Driver for SteamVR

Feature to turn off the blue lights on the headset suggestion.
Whenever the drivers are started the PSVR headset lights up like a Christmas tree. Considering the lights don't serve any functionality (except if you actually need them for some reason) would it be hard to make them off by default or maybe add a checkbox to turn them on/off?

+1, great idea! We also need to integrate PSMoveService. iVRy promised to do it, but there are still no updates. https://steamcommunity.com/app/992490/discussions/0/1649918688131161883/

That is the normal behaviour of the PSVR, and is used to indicate the PSVR is in "VR" mode. As you're wearing the headset, what difference does it make whether they are on or off? It's possible to turn them off, but very low priority, so may or may not make it into the next version of the driver. The next version of the iVRy driver will have FreePIE support built in, which will allow it to be used with PSMoveService.
This is great news! Thanks iVRy! Regarding the backlight... When I use a ping pong ball tracker and other tracking methods, I would not want to get other light pollution into the camera. Therefore, you need a custom backlight. Thanks again iVRy for the prompt feedback.

That's a valid use case, I'll put something into the next version to turn off the LEDs (or make them very dim).
So I don't know about you guys, but the tracking lights actually bleed into my headset from the front! I was noticing it in very dark scenes, and it was very noticeable during scene transitions and when you look away from game menus, when it's supposed to be pitch black.

So yeah, being able to disable the lights totally cleaned that up, black is actually black again!
