Tails Noir: Prologue

Voices
Hello. I just finished the prologue and before getting to the main subject, i'd like to say a few things.

First of all, i loved it. It's not everyday i play these kinds of games, but this one will be highly awaited.

Second, i love it when publishers/devs release a demo of the game, so people can decide for themselves if it their kind of game. This is, unfortunately, a dying practice.

Now, about the voices. I really hope you would be adding people voices. I'm not talking only about the main and secondary characters, but everywhere where people voices should be.

For example, in the street scene, it's too quiet. We see a lot of people, but nothing can be heard. It makes it seem like everyone in the street is holding their breath out of fear to wake up someone or something similar. This gives a weird feeling.

Other than that, i haven't encountered any bugs as far as i know, except for one weird thing : when going trough the kitchen, there are wires. I interacted with them, but nothing happened. Not sure if that is how it should work.

In any case, great demo, and i hope the full game will be even greater.

Hello! Thank you for playing and happy you enjoyed it. We're working on adding more sound design in the demo with the following patches!
Did you have scissors in your inventory when you tried to interact with wires? Thank you!

Hey, thanks for the fast answer. Yes i did pick up scissors, but i haven't found how to use them. Since i didn't find any obvious way to select the scissors, i thought the game would automatically check for the scissors and do the appropriate interaction based on that when i interacted on the wires.

Hey. That sounds like a new weird bug, we will investigate and fix ASAP. Scissors are used automatically on wires, yes. The wires distract the first two cooks. If this is not the case for you and you're stuck - please try to restart the game, continue and let us know what happens and if you can proceed through the level. Thank you!

What a wonderful demo. Yes, a few bugs and grammar/spelling mistakes, but such potential.
I'd certainly be up for helping with character voices for the demo.

Actually it didn't block me. I used another way to get past them. Given that there were a few ways to get in the bar, i guessed there are several ways to get past the cooks.

Also, i forgot to do it in the my last post, but your answer about the voices is really good news.

Hey madks13,

We've just released a hotfix for that!
Could you try to update the game and retry that once again?

Ok, so i redid the game up till the kitchen and....either i didn't understand what cutting the wires results in, or it still doesn't work.

When i cut the wires, 2 of the chefs went in the middle beside each other. Is this the intended effect? If it is, then they were doing that before. The reason i mentioned that is because i thought cutting the wires would cause a black-out.
A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

That's actually how i got past them the first time, before i posted in here. As i said, i thought cutting the wires was supposed to cause a blackout. Which is what usually happens in these kinds of games. Now i know better.

Edit : now that i think about it, the reason i thought about the blackout is because other than the chefs going in the middle, there is no visual cue as to what cutting the wires is doing, The machine that is where the chefs go to doesn't change visually, maybe it would be a good idea to add some small but visible visual change to show that?
