Once you get to Archon, you'll need to adjust those strategies a little, though I do not recommend to switch immediately when it becomes available (getting an essential spell for this class, that pulls it ahead of its base classes costs a bit, and will be around 380-400 mysteries).
Primary attributs for a Abolisher/Archon run should be Empathy, Wisdom and Spellcraft, once you got the requirements for your general equipment covered.
Keep the doppelganger spell on your bar to prevent the pet from losing exp since it's milestones are extremely strong (also before switching to Abolisher, jumpstart your shardpool with worg for a second), also the spellstealer weapon is extremely potent.
The biggest gatekeeper for Abolisher is still the Silence spell, try to gather exp before swapping from Apprentice (easier access to summon with more autoclicks than Abolishers).
It's a trend in discord, and I have to just harshly disagree, if not completely call it objectively false. I did an Arca/Abolisher run from e0 to e300, switching to Abolisher shortly after e200. Silence only bestows around e2-e3 mysteries per run upon you. It's not necessary to progress, neither it's all-powerful or mandatory. Neither are Leg xp items. Not even leg trophies, really, but they don't cost you anything and they help. Moreso, my run was around 2 years ago, since when there's been nothing but buffs for the early game. Back when Spellstealer required to juggle counterspell/debilitate back and forth, yes.
That doesn't mean Abolisher is the best class to progress in that range, but it's viable, and it's better than a couple of different options.
Also, Abolisher doesn't have any problem meeting the higher costs thanks to pet abilities and the spell Syphon Power which boost shard generation.
