[BUG] Wrong Item Set

I've opened the game twice since the update today, and both times it's had me using item set 0 when opening despite saving and exiting on item set 1.

I just did this experiment. Q+2, save, exit, update, run the game.
I'm having only some slots with items in them: Head, Chest, Hands, Feet, Research and both Trophies. Everything else was empty.

The same thing happened with Q+1, Q+3 and Q+4.

I don't get different item set equipped. I get items removed from my character. The items that are left match the original full-equipment set.

I observe the same effects. That the retained items are those from the initial gear slots seems significant.

Probably whats up with my game too, it's just that set 0 is the one I use for experiments so it has fewer items. I was assuming that it had been switching me to a different item set but it removing items makes more sense. Do we know if it removes items when you close the game or when you open it? Cause if it's the latter that severely hampers offline progress

I opened the game following the latest update, and got a shock seeing my attributes. Figured out that it was most likely an equipment change, and sure enough, the load had occurred with the Necromancer gear set I'd made doing the quests a number of paragon tiers ago, rather than the Druid set I've been progressing with for a while.

So the update bugged something involving items set in general? That sound like it'd be harder to sort out. Hopefully they'll patch it soon.

The update removed Forge mechanics. That's the "core" change. Probably something else about the items went wrong with that change.

Not fixed yet; the mini-patch, that just happened, must have done something else.

Same problem. most items are gone from slots when game is loaded.

Indeed, not fixed yet.
i also had a frozen game immediately after launching it with the new patch. But that could have been the Steam overlay. It was frozen as well. So I disabled it. Now the game can start.

Definitely not working yet. I opened the game after update, wrong set. Applied correct set, saved game, closed game, opened game, wrong set.

Update: Updated again. It does indeed appear to be fixed now.

Patch seems to have broken part of the buffs, as well. There's no value shown as to what each one is giving now. Just times.

Tried logging out after saving, restarting game. Saw new content download, but the gear set jumped back to necromancer rather than the druid I'd saved as. I don't use earthen cowl nor grasp of the grave in druid, and they are staring at me.

Edit addition: It looks like my last save of gear set-up as Druid never took, either. Blessed Tapestry's space was blank in the Q-save after the restart of the game.

I just opened my game up after the patch downloaded, and all my gear seems to be in order. So the problem I was having seems be fixed.
