You should keep in mind that you can always change up your memory distribution for only 5 nullifier cores. Your next realm can go much faster even if you don't focus on memories that directly boost profit. This is because restoring your items with the forge is much cheaper than having to unlock and upgrade them all over again.
It's a good idea to save up dust and runes before you realm, just make sure to stay under the caps.
I would say that there is no reason to wait before Realm-ing -- at this point, I would guess that making progress is taking about 1 day per Exile and advancing no more than about e10 Mysteries at most? Carrying on like that is not a very efficient way to increase Myst gain, as future Realms will be able to go much farther and faster since there are so many bonuses you will retain.
(If you are interested in doing Triumphs (achievements completed over the course of a Realm that involve a handicap), and you haven't created all possible items yet, then I would encourage you to stop making more items and leave them to be made in future Realms: there is a Triumph that involves not using the Forge at all -- if you have made all items, this means using no items at all, is very difficult, and has to be left until much later; if you haven't created all items yet, you can do the Triumph much more easily by not using the Forge and only using newly built items, which doesn't break the Triumph condition.)
I am getting like e-10 - e25 per day at the moment.
I'm thinking I'll grind until tomorrow and then maybe Change Realm, if it's fast enough to get back to e400 mysteries.
I think I'll get a bit of everything. (Crafting Dust, Enchanting, Catalyst, Profit, etc.)
How long does it take until the time modifier becomes x10 for Realming?
Do my items lose their rarity? So I can't forge a max rarity item if I had it in previous realm? Does forge require crafting dust or is it just a timed thing?
When you realm, you need to re-forge it, which costs forge time and slots. You have to spend blue/red dust to add time to the forge and green/yellow to skip time. Re-forged equipment is of the same quality it was in your previous realm including any progress to the next tier.
If you are still making good daily progress on mysteries, which I'd say e25/day sounds pretty good, there is no rush to realm as mysteries is the largest memories multiplier and more memories will make the re-grind faster especially early on where there are so many really useful boosts to invest in.
On the memory side, I recommend restored rituals, reinvented techniques, and reclaimed resources as early maxes. They cost 7.5e3, 7.5e3, and 6.5e3 each to max, so 2.15e4 for all of them. Rituals and resources vastly speed up your item game, letting you reach those juicy enchant profits earlier. Reinvented techniques affects multiple multipliers at once. More reds means a lot more profit not only from extra resources but also the bonus from 25 sources and any spells that scale with them, and blues are self explanator. It helps a lot with legacy too. Of course, rituals and techniques also competes with unseen efficiency and unending resources if you can be bothered to math out which one is more efficient expenditure of memories for you.
I recommend saving up crafting dust before realming as well, to speed up forging further with the time skip function of the forge. It's 500 green+orange dust to skip 1 hour and a white item takes 30 minutes. Each level up from there takes twice as much time as the previous so legendaries, and uniques, end up taking 8 hours (3 hours and 12 mins with max swift recall). Thankfully, the time skip applies to all items in the forge at once which is why it's important to get slots from expanded mind. Additionally, if you haven't already, you should go through your item sets and mark items as favorite to make it easier to add items to the forge as it has a button to autofill the forge prioritizing favorites. BTW, the forge starts with only 2 slots.
You also might want to take a look at triumphs. Most of them are out of your reach since its your first realm but easy ones like no expeditions, no trials, or no memories (imprints are OK) should be doable. Keep in mind, active trials or expeditions carry over to the next realm and can fail the triumph if you don't reach the goal before they complete.
This is not true. You can do 1h time skips with zero work time left. You're just wasting red and blue dust if you plan to 1h skip remembering all your old items. For someone who won't have access to the good green and yellow experiments, I recommend only doing time skips, don't waste any red or blue crafting dust.
For someone doing only 1h time skips, which I recommend, I don't remember there being any value in going over 4 points (120%). For those remembering old EQ using work, that's when the max of 5 is useful.
It kind of goes without saying, the more levels Expanded Mind, the more crafting dust one saves no matter what approach is used. It's a worthwhile goal before realming the first time.
Thanks! Good to know.
I'll hold off from changing realm for a bit so I can get more memories built up. And probably try upgrading forging.
I might try for some easy triumphs after checking them out, but some of them sound far easier and quicker to do with a lot of memories already built up. (So doing the achievement doesn't slow down progression way too much.)
New question:
If I Change Realm. And don't reforge my items. And then Change Realm again, are the items lost? Or can I recall them in future Realms even if I didn't bother forging them.
Think if I put all my points (2.5e4 to 3.0e4 mems) into profits and mana regen, I can reach e400 mysteries with:
1. No forge. 2. No trials/experiments. 3. No expeditions. 4. Only single type for catalyst shards
Without it being horrible and awful and slow?
N°3 is recommended to be the first triumph to be done and quite early on since it's reward is really good, not sure how much catalyst level you have but at this point it's most likely not that big. Just make sure to stop your current expedition before realming as realming doesn't cancel it.
For N°4 i'm not sure, there's a person in the triumph strategy thread that does one triumph per realm on a fresh save, i'd recommend checking his messages to have a better idea(should be around page 6 or so)
And before attempting a triumph, export your save just in case you forget you were doing one or make a mistake during. Better safe than sorry.
