Fast Leveling

Is there a class that can level ahead of others? I've got quite a few legacy levels done, but cant breach the 200 lvl one to advance forward. I've been thinking along the lines of going for temporalist, cause he has the exp spell, but not entirely sure.

Yes, Temporalist is the class to go for to get the Character level Leagcies. It's not so much about "fast" leveling so much as being able to reach that level at all. The fewer mysts you have the harder it is to reach the required level. Generally speaking, if you aren't within 2 levels after 5 days, you are better off getting another e50 - e100 mysts before trying again, even if that is going to require another realm. (This is my opinion, YMMV).

Some advice on reaching the required level:
Character xp is earned primarily from Void Entities collected, Upgrades purchased, Sources purchased, and Autoclicks. To maximise upgrades I would suggest beginning with a proper Temporalist run with a burst to buy the sources. Then use the buildup spellset and gear along with the Pixie pet. SE gets you the VE's, True Source lowers the cost of sources, and Pixie autoclicks. Once every so often you can change the pet to Simulacrum to actually max the sources and at the same time you can change your gear to the character level boosting gear to see if you have made it to your goal. The specific gear pieces you are looking for are: Artificers Shoulderpads, Casque of Learning (helmet), Nomadic Wrists, Endless Pouches (belt), The Great journey (boots). If you haven't got there yet, swap back to the buildup gear (evo efficiency boosts the VE's from SE) and Pixie. Also since you aren't trying to actually profit from this run, it is probably worth while to swap the QI spell during buildup to Primal Power as this will boost both SE directly and Refined Wormhole which boosts the character ability which in turn boosts SE.

The Hollow Eye Pendant also increases character XP, so should be included in the gear for that. Additionally, so far as I'm aware, True Sorcery increases the XP bonus for sources but does not reduce their cost.

Character exp is based off void entities collected (spent liquid shadow and excess hallowed clicks count here too), total mana collected this exile, sources bought, total spell casts, and total clicks (both auto and manual). Upgrades don't have anything to do with it unless the upgrade itself gives exp. So, using mechanos also helps since it gives a ton of casts like pixie gives a ton of clicks.

Tempo upgrade inherited from Prodigy reduce the source buying cost, other upgrade help generating mana --> more source with Simul, with Tempo reaching the closest level milestone shouldn't be that hard anyway, TrueSorc does wonder.

Since no one has mentioned it, I'll add a couple points. There are several mastery milestones that help character experience. There are also challenges that give a reward of character experience as long as you meet the reward requirements.
