(tip) extreme lag on challenge: time acceleration

Experienced extreme lag once time distortion went over roughly x60. Consuming distortion via spell or simply allowing it to decay < x55 seems to revert back to normal experience. Was able to trigger several times by manually managing time distortion to intentionally cross the x60 threshold. Relaunched game and also tried changing pets with no change in behavior.

Noticed that CPU load was ramping up significantly with time distortion so I disabled orb and particle effects and that seems to have cleared things up.
