Void entity collection speed

So I'm pushing for the Voidlight Amalgam now (trying to unlock all the T3 pets), and the void entity requirement is taking an awfully long time. I've got as much evocation efficiency as I can really get (I only have 232 spellcraft but I don't know if that will make much difference), I've been going for 8 hours now and I'm only about halfway there.

Currently I'm casting Void Syphon, Spell Focus, Spirit of Valor, Winged Night, Templar Brothers, and Manabeast. The idea here is to cast Void Syphon as much as possible.

Is there a faster way?

Temporalist. The hallowed click requirement is for the whole realm, and Temporalist can gather VEs much faster, so make sure you've met the hallowed click one first, then switch over and finish the unlock.

Actually, wait, if you're already halfway there... I forget just how much faster it goes as Temporalist, so it MIGHT be faster to wait it out as Heretic? Can anyone double check that for me?

Just doing some quick math, That's 4 entities 12 times a second (unless time distortion goes higher than that?) From Void Automaton, Then however many Synthetic entity gets you... Is that really faster? I'm getting 542 entities every cast of Syphon.

Void Automaton is practically useless, as you'll be casting Synthetic Entity... um... a lot of times every second. I forget the exact setup, but it probably requires legendary Temporal Stabilizer as you weapon, and Temporal Scabbard in the legs slot can only help.

My Temporal Stabalizer is not even close to legendary. I don't think it will be any faster - not more than two times faster at least.

Okay yeah, no idea how well it would work without that, so you might be best off waiting it out in your current run.

That's one issue with a lot of guides and advice for this game: it more or less assumes all the equipment being used is at legendary, forgetting that getting all the equipment up to that level takes quite a lot of time and dust.

I don't think the level of your Temporal Stabilizer matters, just that you have it equipped. The level only matters if you are trying to profit. Temporalist can earn enough VEs to unlock VA in about 20-25 minutes (enchants on Temporal Scabbard helps a ton). Just be warned if you are doing this at low mysts you might need to run Chronomancer first to spam autoclicks to level up before upgrading to Temporalist. It really sucks to load up Temporalist only to find that you have to resort to using Geode/Ley Keeper to be able to use Refined Wormhole.

My understanding is that the ability of temporalist to gain vastly more casts of synthetic entity than other classes is based on charging it through time skipping. The quality of the temporal stabiliser has a significant effect on the strength of its boost to time skipping, so a low-quality weapon might disappoint, particularly since in this case time distortion, which also affects the strength, seems to be a bit lacking. I can't say that temporalist would not still be better, but I think continuing with heretic could well be the right choice. Certainly it's the safe one.

As others said Tempo can cast SE at max speed of your frame rate (60/sec) and depending on your gear becuase of the time skip each cast is generating e6+ Void entities. As an example just so that I could stack some of my triumphs I ran tempo for a few hours this realm and currently have 7.4e11 void entities.
