Is offline progress faster than online ?

The offline bonus is an actual 4x production increase ? So no reason to have the game open?

Spells don't trigger offline so no offline is never particularly relevant

I wonder what's actually the point of offline bonus at all. There are single spells that increase your profits by like 10^30 and more. Even if you get there and absolute numbers don't say much as they depend on your progress, it doesn't change much if you take the releative values. So for example my strongest spell is currently about 10^21 times stronger than my offline bonus. So you could stay offline until the end of the universe and still won't get what you can produce within a few minutes or even seconds of active gaming. I wonder if that it at least is less extreme if you completely gear for offline and choose a class that's a bit betted suited for this like the liquid shadow guys.

When you're not idle while playing Umbramancer or Desolator, offline bonus boosts your profit.

It is kinda ironic that the only purpose of the offline bonus (by name the MOST idle version of "profits") is only of value for the classes that only work if you are in active mode
