1) spell focus (with recless autocast)
2) Kelphior's black beam (with recless autocast)
3) alter the laws (lasts literally for day)
4) primal power (lasts literally for day)
5) true sorcery (lasts literally for day)
6) ley overdrive (lasts literally for day)
Have no idea how optimised this is, but it works for me.
So in Upgrades you'll find ones, which allow you to set spells to autocast. When you purchase them you can click on the spell on your spell bar holding Shift or Alt, which sets the spell to reckless or careful autocast.
- Reckless (red spell underframe) means the spell will automatically cast without manualy clicking on it when it have a charge and it's not active (if the spell have a duration).
- Carefull (blue spell underframe) on the other hand triggers when spell have maximum amount of charges collected.
So basically reckless mode is "set and forget" and carefull is for when you want to save some charges for bursts, but you don't want to loose spell shards when all of your spells charged up but you not actively playing the game in the moment.
My method is for the lazy gameplay. I'm basically set everything on reckless, throw the game on the second monitor and from time to time look at it to collect void entities, catch distracting moving bat, buy upgrades and mana sources.
As such you are better off with Golem and Anima construct for your pets. (alot use Void terror and then change but i'm not a fan of that). You then do a period of building up where you cast as many spells farm Void entities and auto clicks for levels and Exp for you and your pet. Also get maximum spell casts for every relevent spell so you aren't waiting on spell shards for when you burst.
Then after some reasonable peroid of time you then build as much void mana as possible, if you don't like switching to Void terror (like i don't) then just run Void Lure and Void radience for a short bit. Once your void mana is at some steady peak switch to your "Burst" which for most classes is one Evocation (Prodigies is Kelphior's Black beam) and 5 Invocations alter the laws primal power true sorcery ley overdrive and something like ritual of power or empower whatever is biggest. Activate all 5 invocations and use your Black beam casts afterwards.
This quickly becomes better than using something like Spell focus to get more casts of Black beam because your invocations will increase the value by a factor of 100 or much more which is better than just casting more.
This mindset is the keybehind almost every class. I think Druid/Shaman and Alchemist are a bit different due to the autoclick focus but i don't play them
