Should I play the steam version, or the Kongregate version?
I've been playing this for about a week on Kongregate. Is there any point in me switching to the Steam version, or are they exactly the same?

They are almost the same. The only notable difference is that Steam goes up to 120 fps, meaning you can cast your spells faster (it's interesting for JMS spamming for example).

That actually sounds really nice. Is it possible to transfer my save from Kong to this version?

yes of course, export your save from kong, and import it on steam.
