- No
Wait wut, really?
- Yes, because even after months of development time after the initial launch of Borderlands VR on PSVR, we were too incompetent to test on anything but Oculus hardware and software and launched on PC with massive issues for Valve Index, HTC Vive, WMR and all non-Oculus hardware. It was so bad we had to quickly put out a statement after launch that the Index isn't supported. And now months after release we still haven't patched in a fix.
[edit] It took 3 months but to their credit they didn't abandon the game and did release a patch fix for Index.
Well most of them have been playing this way on there tv's ....it has to be right ..RIGHT !!
Pancake new urban dictionary word ..

is it going to be fixed in the future ?
Besides, if the final DLC "Commander Lilith and fight for sanctuary"could be released too, it would be great
And the game plays great, even better than the non VR ones
But don't forget its a port of a regular pc game focusing on immersion and singleplayer, to have a game properly taking advantage of the possibilities provided by VR you would have to rebuild the whole game from scratch or simply do an entire new game VR exclusive
The worst VR games are definitly Bethesda's ones, they are lazy as hell and cumulate all the weaknesses without any of the strenghs ! Doom VFR, Cyberpilot, etc...
- Terrible. The bullets don't usually go where you point your gun. Most guns are missing iron sights (you need both rear and front sights for iron sights to work, devs!), and the optional reticle is completely useless because it has a huge offset. You can't hold two-handed weapons in two hands, and scopes are a joke.
What about just walking?
- Also terrible. Your choices are insta-barf mode, or a 'comfort' mode that doesn't allow you to go where you want to go because the raycasting fails half the time due to things like pebbles in your path, which gets you killed more often than any enemy.
That sounds really bad for a game based around walking and shooting!
- That's not a question, but I feel your pain.
Weapons have an accuracy value and to aim precisely you have to press the left trigger, only Salvador can use a weapon in each hand when he use his class ability (its not a Serious Sam VR game), and when aiming precisely with a weapon equiped of a scope a picture-in-picture appear and replace the usual reticle, it show precisely what you would get by looking into it (its disturbing at first but very usefull when you get used to it)
You can either chose walk+jump or walk+teleport in the option menu accordingly to the context (press right A for jump/teleport), and BAMF is usefull in combat situations to slow down the time and take advantage of this
