Black screen on character select

Black screen on character select. Anyone have same issue?

Yep, just checking here to see if I wasn't the only one. I guess I'll let it sit for a bit? I'm half wondering if I could make a save and move it over? This seems to be a common theme for me with VR ports, both Skyrim and Fallout had character creation issues for me, so I just made a character and moved the save over.

Same here. Plays through intro and then black screen. Most expensive game intro sequence I've ever bought lol

Update: Third time was the charm and the character select screen popped up. Dunno what I did different really. Got almost to Sanctuary before either the game or my headset (Rift S) lost tracking and got me a kinda nauseous. Did that thing where you move your head and everything you see moves with it. >urp<

We both have a cookie-cutter, modern, very high end system. I would have expected one of their test-machines to have the exact same specs. The sadness is real.

Well it works fine if you move a save file over. it doesn't maintain quests finished, but it does maintain inventory and levels. I haven't been able to get the dlc to work yet though, but from what I've played so far, I'm happy. One thing I will say is that all cut scenes are 2d, which makes sense for a port, and even though it's slightly annoying... at least it helps me remember which way is forward? hah

I tried this but it didn't show me the save in the main menu. Can you describe the process? I moved my WillowGame/SaveData over to the same folder in the Bordferlands VR location but it doesn't seem to work.

Save doesn't help me too. But after run game and quit from menu(not ALT+F4), game works fine after this. Try it.

same thing here and it's absolutely infuriating considering they made the cut scenes unskippable in VR. Literally no desire to go sit through that crap again. Pretty annoyed honestly.

I don't get what to you mean after run game quite from menu, just restarting the game fixed it then? have you changed any options before you started?

No. Just run game, and choose "Exit" in main menu. Then run again and everything works fine.

I don't know guys, it happenned to me 3 times, I was getting so angry. Finally after main intro movie it worked. Once it works once, it always work then, never had it happen after.
