We are back from a bit of a break with a fresh new patch!

Here are the release notes:

Features:

Versus mode: manager automatically imports other users’ programs
IF/CASE highlighting automatically selects the entire block of commands and de-highlighting deselects the block of commands (thx @programaths)
New AI behavior for MOVE BACK

Bug Fixes:

Reset progress bar after CLEAR
Minor level fixed + optimization
Memory and speed optimization
Changes made to the Star Requirements for the Tutorial level "I'm proud of my flag"

Happy new year players!

As promised, here comes another update for RoboSnakes!

Here are the release notes:

Features:

Further improvements and optimization of tutorial levels
Improving star requirements for various levels
Support for multiplayer modes
New, techno soundtrack added into the game

Bug Fixes:

Increased frame rate in different resolutions
Sound effect levels improved
Fixed ray effect problems

We continue to work on adding new features into the game. All of your suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated!

The newest, promised big update for RoboSnakes: Core Wars Legacy will be arriving today, January 3.

Here are the release notes for the update:

Features:

Improvements made to the various environmental objects’ AI, such as:
- enemy RoboSnakes
- new types of Guards
- smart Exits
- different Boosters
- energy Cells
Changes made to the Campaign:
- 3 new, more challenging bosses
- variety added to the opponent strategies
- fine-tuning the 3 star solutions
Changes made to Versus arenas:
- variety added to the maps to enable more strategies to be viable in combat

Bug Fixes:

Improved stability on Windows10
Support for Windows7/8 added
Performance issues fixed for 5K, 6K and 8K resolutions
Fixes made to the UNDO feature in the Code editor

Min OS Reqirements

Hi The game currently lists Win10 as a minimum Requirement. I'm quite interested in the game but don't have Win10. (Won't get it anytime soon also). So my question: Does it run with Win7 or is Win7 support planned? Same goes for Linux: Does it run with Linux or is Linux support planned? Greetings...

How does it even work? The Versus mode is purely 1v1. You can load up or write a new code and see it fight the opponent's code. How do I load up a code into the opposing snake? Using the tabs in the top left corner, you can switch from y...
