If you "only" want Avalanche to fix things, then add your vote here:
https://hogwartslegacy.bugs.wbgames.com/bug/HL-13992
but "DLSS 3.0 Frame Generation" becomes unavailable. this is the only way,
lowering options is just crashes a little later, problem is not solved.
I just read others with r9 5900x has this problem like half year ago....
So I actually tried out the hags off style and guess what .... The game plays perfectly fine !
I didn't get a single desktop crash in 1 hour of gameplay .
You can't use the frame gen dlss3 setting but hey, the game is working now. Ray tracing hits hard on this game "somehow" ( like the whole game is so optimized tho) but without it , the game still looks beautiful. I beleive they will never fix this problem , they just don't care anymore to fix anything in this game... till then , if you want to play hogwarts , tick out that useless hags and play .
I found out hags was the thing as well what destroyed my diablo 4 expecience with all the fps drops for no reason. 2 in 1 for me !
Hardware accelerated gpu scheduling at this point is totally pointless for my 4070ti.
I hope this helps someone as well. Cheers.
this guy shows you a few things you can do to config windows to run Hogwarts smoother without crashes, if this doesn't help then YouTube more tips and tricks to help Hogwarts run smoother without crashes.

Yeah this was for stuttering issues at launch. Everyone's crashing issues now are because of an update that they never patched. People were saying it's a RAM issue, well I literally just bought 16 more gigs of RAM just to see and NOPE, still crashes immediately after the warning screen. I don't understand how they just abandoned this game 6 months after launch...
