The game still runs so bad (Tried after almost a year) !
It's almost been a year since they released the game. And since then there is 0 improvement apparently.
Today I downloaded the game to try with this dlss3 mod on nexus. But with or without the mod HL still runs like ♥♥♥♥. I remember back then I've tried every possible solution. Nothing helped. I wanna play this game so bad once again but it's not possible with this constant stuttering every time i try to move or attack.

Can someone care to explain why developpers don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about performance issues?

Yes i know this mod. When i said "i've tried every possible solution" I wasn't joking. I went deep down on my pc. Whatever you guys can think of I TRIED. Regedit files, gpu acceleration, mods, tweaks, rigs. LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Game is so poor optimized.

Thank you for suggestion. Though I don't take mods as an answer it still runs so bad with it.

Have you tried the following;
HPET=disabled
Open cmd in admin mode and enter;
bcdedit /delete value useplatformclock
Create a restore point before trying any of these registry keys
Reboot and if it still stutters then it was probably OFF in the bios. Go into bios and look for High Precison Event Timer and set it to Enabled. Go back to cmd and enter;
bcdedit /set useplatformclock
Reboot and also make sure it's enabled via hardware manager. This setting alone gets me 33% increased FPS and fixes stutters in lots of games.

Others you can try are as follows;
bcdedit /set useplatformtick
bcdedit /set disabledynamictick
bcdedit /set tscsyncpolicy
I've not had luck with these 3.

Mouse dpi are notorious for causing latency in games. I use up to 3200 and typically 1600. I think 5k or under is fine. Don't quote me though. There's also a report rate. I use 500ms and choices are 125, 250, 500, 1,000 for my mouse. Not sure about how reporting works. May only effect gaming if you game via browser. Disable all overlays or as many as possible. Note that i use msiafterburner. What you don't want to do if have them all report and or query/poll at the same time. So i do this;

500ms=mouse reporting
1998ms=msi afterburner monitoring/polling
4999ms=msi afterburner fan/fan update speed
998ms=rivatuner statistics server framerate avg interval
499ms=rivatuner statistics server Refresh period

The last 2 access from rivatuner statistics server setup menu. Eventually some of these will poll at the same time. But 500ms and 499ms it takes 499 polls for these 2 to line up and poll at the same time.

It's little things like these that all add up. With my 13yo cpu/mobo/ddr3 i have to use every trick in the book. But i also have an RTX4080 which helps a lot. I can do 3 laps around hogmeade and get 1 stutter. Hogwart it stutters here and there. But i also changed some of the unreal engine settings. I've already uninstalled the game or i'd list what i did to the .ini file for the game. But i found it via google.

Oh i forgot for this game there is one file that must be changed. It's that file used for Razor products that controls RGB. I've no idea why the game has it installed by default. Razor is notorious for causing issues mainly due to the RGB integration. And it's really not a Razor thing. ASUS, Gigabyte, Corsair, etc all have this issue. Anyways download the file below. It Basically replaces it all with returns so that it doesn't query anything or whatever. This helped a TON.

I get over 100 fps all the time and a fair amount at 144 fps.

Settings are:
-High everything
-Textures at low
-DLSS at performances

Pretty much

Specs are:
Intel I5 13600K
32gb RAM 4800mhz
RTX 3070

I understand some people have bigger machines than mine. Therefore the game runs worse on theirs.

@"My computer costs more"
It is not something to brag about.
I built the computer i posted. Cost me a bit over 1200 with taxes and shipping. Had the GPU already.

Your ignorant comments show us your just trolling. Telling people to get a better pc doesn't help anyone plus that's not going to fix a poorly made game. Evidence suggests the higher end pc you have, the poorer Hogwarts runs. Could you work that out?
