REVERSE THE UPDATE PLEASE

Ever since the most recent update.
(march 17,2025) I have not been able to open the game without it crashing. i have 30 hours on the game and it worked beautifully before the update ... other than stutters here and there. iv tried everything under the sun in order to try and make it work but no dice. i can still run games like Marvel Rivals, Black smith Wukong ...etc with high performance and quality. this recent update made me no longer be able to open the game

Please reverse the update !!!!!!

The mods update is causing the game to have its textures to flicker a lot after about 40 minutes of game time on my 2080. Still not addressed. Horrible! I had a completely different experience for tens of hours and then the update dropped out of nowhere.

It is so weird that I tried to do that, but it crashes everytime.

Same i recently purchased this game and it crashes within minutes of loading in... i've tried just about everything updated my drivers as well and nothing works at this point its just the game and steam needs to fix it.

Steam will never fix it likely, 99% of game crashes are user solvable. Just never give up :p did u see if u could reset/delete your configs for the game, or let nvidia optimize it temporarily to see if that starts the game?

I bought the game today, and with a gtx1080 and 16gb ram it crashes even at low resolution. I can't find a solution...

OP, roll back to the summer 2024 update version. You can find info on how to do it. That will let you use any mods you want from Nexus AND prevent most of the problems with crashing and stuff people have with the February and March updates. That is what I did.
Surprisingly, the game is on UE4, not UE5, so it technically should be more optimized, but.
I have an undervolted 7900XTX Nitro+ that clocks super high, and the game still drops frames here and there at 4k Ultra. And if you wanna talk raytracing, it looks pretty bad in most cases, yet you lose more than half your frames. Probably better on nVidia, but it's 100 percent not worth the cost.

i bought it today as well; however, i could not launch the game it keeps saying startup error.

Something is very wrong with your PC. I can guarantee you the game works just fine with a 1080, I used a 1080 before I bought my current GPU. Hell, the game runs on Steam deck. Check drivers, temps, integrity, proton compat, mods (nexus mods often crash the game in latest version).
Roll back to the summer 2024 version and the game should work fine for you. There is a guide on nexus mods and Google.

It sounds like you're saying the summer 2024 version ran fine on the 1080, not the current version?

The summer 2024 version runs perfectly fine on the 1080 with zero issues, yep. Even on Linux. Pretty sure I used a mix of high and medium and installed ascendio and had zero problems or crashes with tons of mods running too.
Definitely advise rolling back to it and trying again, game was perfectly playable for me back then.
