so i added some mods but i wasn't happy with them so i removed them, that didnt work its like the mods replaced original code and couldnt be removed, so i uninstalled and now im installing the game again. i forgot how long it took the first time round, 12 hours later and its still only at 59 percent, its sooo slow i have very good internet over night nothing else was streaming and its still so slow!!

Steam should, under normal circumstances, get to at least 20-30 MB/s of download speed. If your Internet connection is indeed "very good", then Hogwarts Legacy should be fully downloaded in less than an hour.

There are numerous factors that can bottleneck the download, though. The one that most people overlook, is their drive - sometimes people download lots of data to a mechanical or external drive, or to an SSD that's so full that its write cache is disabled, and then wonder why everything is so slow.

You are quite right, im running on WIFI not ethernet so that tallys, although my system hasn't changed from the first time i downloaded and it only took 3 hours, which i knew would happen because of the wifi. so there must be other factors which ill look in to thank you
