That's not true and you give a bad advice.
16GB is minimum and for many people luxury.
awwwyeahhhbaby and faralsimbor you both post a lot of sales ploys.... Trying to get others to buy a better PC or gear, even though the minimum requirements are often given.
The game was running fine for all players before the last patch!
Are you sales specialists, paid by the game developers to force everyone to buy high-end gaming PCs?
If you two gave the money, everyone would.
Very much this, it ran fine one day, and incredibly poor the next, and i can't reverse it. The time for refund is expired, so now im stuck with a sh*t game i cant play, but got the taste of. Really sad.
GASP! Imagine playing games on a PC dedicated to gaming!!!! What an unfathomable concept!!!!
New tech forces you to upgrade because things become obsolete like a 1080 gtx.
A Model T Ford won't get you anywhere today even though it was a technological marvel at the time.
Do you not know that minimum requirements usually allow you to simply open the game and play like a slideshow or sometimes have acceptable experience if you like old console graphics and performance?
The recommended requirements usually give you a passable experience while an overkill machine will usually run the best.
Now in the case of Cyberpunk and this game amongst others I own even that may not be totally true.
The last patch did do some damage but the new Nvidia drivers are causing as much havoc. I rolled back the drivers and now play at a fairly stable although subpar for my taste 55-70 fps but I do have a gaming PC.
You could follow the suggestion on these forums and roll the game back before the patch but I guess whining about something you can fix in 20 miutes is much more productive! You might be looking for a console experience if that is the case.
I've opened the cpu and put a table fan to keep playing and it worked, but still... this game is crazy heavy
1080 is still a beast
What are your graphic settings? Are you using upscaling? You should but don't use DLSS as it isn't supported on our older GTXs. Use AMD FSR 2 Quality. Turn of motion blur, film grain and vsync and set refresh rate at uncapped.
