found a fix to get game working with mods
go to windows security, Virus and threat protection settings and manage settings, then scroll down to exclusions, add exclusion for HogwartsLegacy.exe from your steam folder. my game sudden works now with mods.

What is your particular windows? I have firewall and defender and not virus and threat protection settings or am I being duh? [win10]

Are you referring to in-game mods or external mods from sites like Nexus?

sorry to hear that, gone like 5 hours straight without a crash, i also have ray Reconstruction on if that does anything
