End of the High Keep quest was looped (on PC)

At the top of the Keep there is a quite difficult battle (for me), which I eventually won. Then I was supposed to continue the climb, but the route made me repeat the same climb and meet the same opponents, having to fight them all over again. So I won the second battle, and the same thing happened yet again, and I was considerably upset by this point!

For some reason, the loop unstuck itself and I was able to complete the quest. Nice ending.

Anyone else had this unsettling experience?
