I CANNOT UNINSTALL SOME MODS
I uninstalled one of the official mods, however when I do so, it still appears in my mod list but now has an exclamation point next to it, denoting that there is an error, but NOTHING tells me what the error is. (Edit: This is not normal behavior. Any mod that has an error, usually says why. This is unique to the problem I am having, it seems).

Obviously, it is because I clicked "uninstall" for the particular mod, though having no indication of why the exclamation is there is something that definitely needs to be addressed. (Edit: As I said above, this seems to be unique to this situation)

My problem is that my mod page menu is not updating that I uninstalled the mod and does not say "INSTALL", but still says "UNINSTALL" no matter how many times I click uninstall, refresh the page or even close the game entirely and reload it.

Since I do want to actually use that mod, this is a problem.

I tested this with another mod that I didn't really care about and the same thing happened. It will not update the mod page to show that I have uninstalled the mod with an "install" icon. It just says "uninstall" however, on the load order for the mod it also has an exclamation next to it now.

Now I have two mods that are uninstalled, but won't let me reinstall them. Do not uninstall an official mod, just remove it from your mod order if you don't want to use it. At least for now, until they fix this.

Update: Feb 5
After checking my mods folder, the mods that I have uninstalled do not show up in the mods folder. That makes sense as they are uninstalled, however the UI for the mod list in game still says "UNINSTALL".

The affected mods are as follows:
Dungeon of Doom
Victorian Silhouettes Overhaul
Reduce Scarf and Necklace Clipping for Reshaped Top
Casual NPCs by Deathlysallows
Phoenix Robes
Deathlysallows' Twig Dresses

A video I made showcasing my issue
https://www.youtube.com/live/xsNo2u-3As8?si=d59TqV57kRxdHlEN

Hopefully that better demonstrates what exactly is happening.

Edit: 2/8/25
I have uninstalled the game twice. Deleted all associated files, except for my save games and any files within those folders associated with the user save files. There seems to be another folder with mod save files. I am considering deleting these files and seeing if it fixes anything. I have no clue what is wrong.

I am having the exact same problem
I'm having this problem as well, but I think it applies to all the mods, because I used different ones, and it still does the same thing...

It only effected the ones I listed, I think, because they were the only ones I tried at first. Once I closed the game and tried other mods they worked as I imagine it is intended to work. It is possible that I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it before other mods started working, but that has no fixed the issue with the listed mods, unfortunately.
Might be a bit late. But I deleted the mods folder in the user folder. Directly. That seemed to work.

Delete the main mod folder to uninstall all mods.

Then go to you pc "AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy", I deleted the mod file here as well.

Then go to "AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\SaveGames" and delete "ModOperations.sav" and "ModTutorial.sav". That will reset even the mod manager tutorials

That worked for me, it unistalled all mods and they disappeared from the in game manager, all the deleted folders were automaticaly recreated upon opening the game. Had no issues yet

I have done this and also deleted the ModOperations and ModTutorial files and verified integrity to get fresh versions. STILL the game claims mods are loaded when I try to load my unmodded save.
