Can't install mods from in-game tab

My game doesn't crash or lags, but when trying to install any mod from in-game I get the error "cannot get disk info". Has anyone had this?

I couldn't...I uninstalled until they maybe patch it. I was so excited to play this game again after so long

no luck on my end. reinstall and install relocation didn't work

If running the game as administrator doesn’t help, check if Controlled Folder Access (Ransomware Protection) is enabled in Windows Security. Official Mods are first downloaded to the Documents folder which that setting in Windows Security could prevent from working. Additional issues might occur if your Documents folder is being synchronized with OneDrive.

Check the above comment by InternalError. Literally worked for me after hours of looking for a fix. Had the same issue, search on the windows bar “Controlled Folder Access”, switched it off, booted the game and the mods now install.

Internal Error solved this problem. Thank you 1 Million times over. However If you have another issue like me where Controlled Folder Access turns on after shutting off your pc you can allow the executable through controlled folder access and it works the same. Happy modding
