Constant micro-stutters and lag after new update.
I'm running the game on a GTX 1070 TI, but the game ran amazingly smoothly for the most part...until this update, which not only makes the initial rendering loading screen last FAR longer than it used to, but everything slightly lags now: brooms, running, even walking. Nothing in the game moves smoothly anymore. Did they even test this??

I'm not even running any mods and frankly don't plan to. I never wanted this update, and I'd love a way to get rid of it.

Edit: Enabling the upscaling feature mostly eliminates the worst of the micro-stuttering and screen-tearing, but it's still present. This was an update that made the game worse.

same here, game was running quite well at 4K ultra before update, now it's awful even at 1080p and medium. Reflections and some effects are clearly bugged out. Constant microstutters and intput lag. Barely playable.
I have a 3060Ti and before update I could get a smooth 70-90 fps, now I can barely get 50
OMG my 120 FPS Butter smooth is gone... My %1 and %0.1 FPS was 120 stable but now im getting Huge FPS drops. Is it game problem ?

The game is completely broken after last update. It destroyed the frame-time now it's a stutter mess all around even with my RTX4090 and Ryzen 9800x3D it's annoying to play

I've always run the game at medium settings across the board and it both looks amazing even at medium and also ran perfectly fine, for the most part (minor stutters here and there, but I'm running the game on tech several generations behind).

I have no wish to lower settings to low to see if that helps, as it ran perfectly fine on medium already! I honestly doubt they'll patch the game to fix this now, with the "community mods" thing likely meaning they've effectively stepped away from the game to focus on the second. But in this case, they should. I don't want to have to wait for someone to make a mod to fix what they broke!

i just posted this

guys like many of you i have stutters and fps drops after new update, i run the game on a RTX 4090 at 3840x1600, sometimes RR in the menu is gone, others also RT is gone and more, ok so i noticed that some changes disable others so you have to be careful when changing options, but this is a bug, the recurrent issue in this game is the stutter

so i did this, i used RivaTuner to CAP FPS but NOT ingame, that's unlocked, so you have to find what min/max/average FPS you have to find the suitable FPS cap, and it dropped stutter and microsttuer like when the game wasn't patched

i did this video info is in English and also Notes in the Description

Hope this helps a bit. All the Best, Sergio!

I think the problem is the new DLSS version. Download DLSS swapper, it is a well-known and trusted app that replaces a simple DLL file in the files of the game. If my memory serves me right... I think the previous and more stable DLSS version was 3.8.10. Use this app to experiment until you find the BEST performing DLSS version, and you should be good to go.
