Need help with save file for sorting ceremony
So i've been trying to get all the achievements and I was reading about creating a cloud save file just before the sorting ceremony starts so you can skip that.

My first game was Hufflepuff when I finished the game I started a new character and copied a save file (not sure if it went right) I just finished getting to the Map Chamber and got 2 houses left to do. Has anyone tried this method and how to I add the cloud save back? I backed up my save files and deleted them and added the cloud save but it wasn't working, i'm mostly certain this is not the correct way. I hope anyone knows, it will help a lot because the prologue is taking too long

No idea why would u need to manually copy save to cloud or anywhere...but i did it like this. After finishing main playthrough i just started new game, got to the sorting ceremony and choosed any of the other 3 houses. After some cutscenes when i was in that new house common room i just hard saved game and then load some autosave (this game likes to autosave like crazy) just before sorting ceremony so i could do 2 more times.

Guess it has to be autosave because i couldnt hard save in the room where u see memory of Rackham and Rookwood and i didnt try in area before :D.
Hope this helps

No way that sounds so much easier. Stupid I didn't try that. Yeah someone on a reddit post said you needed to make a cloud save copy but it made me so confused where to put it lol. I'll definitely try your method. When you load up the autosave, do you then do a hard save after the ceremony? Thank you SO much for your reply & tip!!
Yeah, right after the ceremony i did manual save that i didnt touch (overwrite or delete). For example i played Gryffindor in my main playthrough. That means i had to do 3 more separate runs to map chamber with other houses. After i finished main playthrough i just created new character and chose Hufflepuff after ceremony. In the common room i hard saved and the load autosave before sorting ceremony. So second time i did Ravenclaw. Again, hard saved in common room and last time i did Slytherin. This way i had 3 separate house hard saves under 1 character and had to do that tutorial only once. And then whenever you feel like it u can just load one of them manual saves in common room and speed run to map chamber. It should be still arround 2 hours tho.... Good luck :)

Very clear instructions. I am gonna try it this way now, thank you so much. I got Slytherin and Ravenclaw left to do so that will save some time via the way you told me. Thanks again for your time and help!!
