FEEDBACK: Why must ALL Mods disable Achievements?
I can understand disabling Achievements for Mods that enable the player to cheat, but there are plenty of Mods which are completely cosmetic.

It's a real bummer having to choose between using cosmetic Mods to customize your character/NPCs and retaining the ability to earn Achievements. Granted that Achievements aren't everything, but it seems unfair that all Mods are treated as if they're cheats even when they are not, so using any given Mod removes a feature from the game altogether.

With the system as it is, Mods might as well be reserved exclusively for subsequent playthroughs once the player has earned the majority of Achievements, but seeing as Hogwarts Legacy lacks a New Game PLUS feature or alternate routes, the prospect of doing multiple playthroughs isn't very attractive to begin with.

Ultimately, this is EXTREMELY disappointing to me because I've been playing all this time with Mods, and up until today once Mods became officially supported, I was able to use them and earn Achievements at the same time!
Heck, folks have already been able to potentially cheat with Mods and still earn Achievements for the past 2 years, so why even bother imposing such a restriction at this point?

If nothing else, there ought to be an option to have submitted Mods certified as non-cheats so that they can be freely used without disabling Achievements.

I agree, If people have been able to play with mods and still earn achievements this entire time it's pointless they restrict it now.

That's the problem, once you've unlocked all of the Achievements there isn't much of a reason to continue playing.

Eh, someone will come out with an "Enable Achievement Progress" soon.

Mods Disable achievements?
If i put mods in my game the achievements will be blocked? It's more for visual mods, I hate the male hairs in the game
watching ESO do a video on it, right now and so far he has not mentioned anything about disabled achievements
Yhea,if you turn on any mod ,it will disable them, you get a warning in-game when you go into the Mods tab.
Using mods the old way (putting the files in the Pak folder) doesn't work anymore, the game won't load or it will crash.
I am sure mod makers will figure out a workaround. Just give them a bit of time.

modding is a reason to keep playing

Mods, unfortunately, disable achievements. It's yet another developer that sloppily incorporates mods into their game. Imagine officially supporting mods through the game and at the same time blocking achievements... in a single player game...

Since playing with mods requires authentication with WB servers, I sadly doubt this will be as easy as it has been for other games.

I think it's more likely that someone will figure out a way to re-enable third party mods, and that is how achievements will be accessible again with mods.

Well some of the mods so far would make them way too easy to get though :D. Looking at some of them like no spell cool downs and instant harvesting/potion making.

To add, I think there is a mod which stops that achievement block with mods but is not one of the the in-game ones
Got a link?

yeah i can understand game breaking mods doing so, but the simple ones or the cosmetics.... hell no
