do our nexus mods still work?

if you downloaded mods from other places will they still work in game?

game won't open with them. Also when I opened the game (had to disable all my mods) I got a list of new rules where they said we can't use other mods. i guess they can ban players or game will simply not run

No, you need to remove them or the game will crash on startup

They can say whatever they want, but they can't' stop players from modding it themselves.

Nope, read the new EULA, seems they don't want mods that are not approved by them.

WB just broke all existing mods

From the patch notes:
> Due to changes to both data serialization and upgrades to our Raytracing features in the Hogwarts Legacy engine, level code changes were made that will break all 3rd Party MODs that use skeletal mesh assets made before the upcoming MODs patch.

This means that all your current character mods will no longer be compatible.

Bravo WB. Taking a page straight out of Bethesda's playbook.

Edit - Even worse, it seems that there is now an always online connection needed for the mods and EULA that enforces mods only approved by the little big brothers at WB. Pathetic.

There will always be nude mods.

I'm glad it's not as restrictive as I thought, but I'm nevertheless disappointed that I cannot use cosmetic Mods without it disabling in-game Achievements.
