Prof Garlick Assign #2 - how do you physically use all 3 toxic plants together

Using controller. To use 1 plant you have to hold LB, move R to the plant, release LB, exit, then hit LB. I can't see how to do that 3 rimes before the fight is over

You don't have to do this in battle. I simply threw the three in front of me in my Room of Requirement. Or rather the two real battle plants and finally the Mandrake
